Requirements
1. Must have a Master’s degree in relevant areas of Computer Science or Information technology.
2. Must have a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or Information technology.
Must have University teaching experience at the rank of Assistant Lecturer for at least two (2) years, or
Tutorial Assistant for at least three (3) years.

Must have at least one scholarly article or publication OR should have undertaken at least one research
project/paper.

Responsibilities
1. To teach at undergraduate and graduate level in areas of Computer Science and Information Technology.
To carry out research and produce publications, or other research outputs, in line with personal
objectives agreed in the Staff review process.
2.
3. To supervise or assist with supervision of undergraduate and graduate students.
4. To contribute to the development, planning and implementation of a high quality curriculum.
To assist in the development of learning materials, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records
to monitor student progress, achievement and attendance.
5.
To participate in departmental and faculty seminars aimed at sharing research outcomes and building
interdisciplinary collaboration within and outside the department.
6.
7. To provide pastoral care and support to students.
To contribute to faculty and university-wide working groups or committees as requested, and actively
follow and promote UCU mission, values and policies.
