Requirements
University degree in Social Work, Social Sciences, Public Health, Law or other relevant field of study. A Master’s degree is an added advantage 

    Post Graduate Qualification in Human Rights, Project Planning & Management, Development Studies or law from a recognized institution is an added advantage

    Sound knowledge of Financial Management

    A sound understanding of social justice and Human Rights issues with demonstrated experience in Children’s rights advocacy

    Proven knowledge and experience in developing and implementing community mobilization projects

    Familiarity with standards and guidelines for Child Protection programming and coordination as well as guidance

    Ability to exercise sound judgment, to remain flexible to a changing environment, and to make decisions independently

    Strong communication (both oral and written) and documentation skills,

    Good engagement skills and ability to network with key child protection actors, United Nations agencies and other Child Rights Civil Society Organizations including Faith Communities

    Ability to identify the main gaps in child protection in the given context to inform a holistic response for children.

    Previous experience of managing a team

    Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability

    Experience in capacity building and in strengthening various duty bearers understanding of and response to child protection.

Responsibilities
Support the grant project in development of project designs, annual plans, and budgets.

    Ensure timely and quality implementation of project interventions against set targets

    Ensure work plans for implementation are made and expectations met.

    Contribute to ongoing assessments and analyses to better understand child protection risks, map points of services for survivors of child sacrifice and vulnerable children, and to identify and link them to support structures

    Analyze trends and develop/align project strategies to meet needs

    Ensure maximum integration and synergies of the grant with APs interventions

    Facilitate effective implementation of the Localized Amber Alert, Social Norm Change, CoH for CP, Peace Road and other planned project models

    Liaises with, and provide updates on progress to, project stakeholders/management.

    Develop and maintain a detailed project plan and manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.

    Record and manage project issues, scope and change control - escalating where necessary.
