Concern for the Girl Child (CGC), is a national Ugandan based Non Government Organization (NGO) that started in 2001 with the aim of empowering vulnerable children especially the girl child. CGC has contributed to the enhancement of the welfare of children, and especially the girl-child at all levels of life through increasing girl child access to basic needs such as education, health, promoting the rights of children and increasing household incomes through providing youth with meaningful livelihood opportunities.
