-Supervises ,coaches, mentors branch staff, and evaluates performance
-Conducts and document weekly staff meetings intended to address issues of customer care, customer complaints and discussing feedback from customers
-Ensures satisfactory audit results of branch operations and implements all audit and BOU recommendations concerning operational issues.
-maintain open line of communication between staff and senior management
-Develop individual and team goals and assists team members in meeting the individual goals.
-Conduct compliance trading and ensures all staff complies with established policies and procedures.
-Ensures that all transactions are accurately posted into the system.
-Balances cash with generals ledgers and ensures that the system vault balance tallies with the physical cash.
-Ensures timely submission of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
-Ensure proper posting and filling of back office vouchers.
-Carry out any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
-Receiving in form of savings deposit, loan repayments and any other fees charges related to loans and pay out cash in from of withdraws and disbursements to clients.
-Generate teller transaction reports which shows all the transaction posted on clients’ accounts on daily basis.
-Generate a teller balance report which shows het cash closed with and a breakdown by totals of amounts received.
-Ensure that policy teller limits are adhered to at all times.
-Ensure that the treasury in and treasury out slips are correctly filled and signed by both the teller and the back office supervisor
-ensure that all transactions are posted accurately to the respective accounts
- Ensure that all keys and stamps are recorded in key register accounts.
-Ensure that savings module is closed at the end of every month in order to obtain accurate figure for interest.
-Attend all back office staff meetings
-Cross selling banking services
-Any other assigned duties
- Respond to a variety of customer requests and inquiries via the telephone or in person over the counter.
The range of inquiries and requests include:
Inquiries and requests on banking products and services such as savings, cheque, business and loan accounts, telephone banking and internet services. Inquiries about superannuation products. Inquiries about death and disability insurance and income protection.
-Receive and respond to customer service account inquiries on account balances, transaction details, statements and fees and charges.
-Open new accounts/Closing accounts
- Alterations to existing savings and cheque accounts
- Inquiries for home, car and personal loans
- Inquiries on internet services
-Promote bank products and services
-Identify customer needs
-Refer customers to appropriate banking services and representatives.
-Issue ATM cards and changing customer passwords
- Provide product brochures for customers
- Refer customers who request to open business accounts and business credit cards to Customer Service Supervisor
- Refer customers who request loan, superannuation and insurance products to a financial adviser or financial planner
-Always went out to the field to look for clients who wanted to advertise with the company.
