Job Description

We are looking for Emergency Response Team member (Emergency Shelter/ Non-Food Items)

Education: Bachelor

Employment: Full-Time

Requirements: • Previous experience in Humanitarian aid, including field mission in deep field "hard-to -reach" location with very basic living conditions • Previous experience in planning and conducting Shelter and NFI assessments, needs verifications mission, and distributions in emergency situations • Previous experience in facing difficult situations in remote areas • Fluency in English, Arabic and local language • Excellent communication skills and the ability to keep confidential information • Ability to be time-punctual: please note, for the first three months (probation period), INTERSOS reserves the right to terminate the contract at any given time by giving two weeks' notice in writing, in case new employee could not proof successfully his/her time punctuality • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Internet (please note for candidates invited for interview there will be 30 minutes exams to proof his/her ability of using MS Excel)

Key Responsibility

1. Participate in planning and executing act1v1t1es of needs assessment, needs verification, registration, distribution and Post Distribution Monitoring on the field, using Shelter-NF! cluster-standard tool, 2. Effectively work together with other cluster partners in executing emergency response activities; if appropriate, lead the response on behalf of the cluster 3. Arrange transportation of necessary shelter/ NFI items, appropriately stored and accurately recorded, by supervising laborers, maintaining contact with logistic officer of INTERSOS, IOM and other organizations, and other necessary tasks. 4. Prepare activities' reports, including Inter-agency Rapid Needs Assessment, needs verification report, distribution report and PDM report, on time after the activities' implementation, using cluster standard format 5. Support INTERS OS Logistic Officer/ Logistic Assistant if needed 6. Any other task not listed above but necessary for the implementation of the project when requested by Project Manager
