Applications are invited for this post based at the Division of MS&GEM (Renal Medicine), University of Nottingham Medical School at Derby (on the site of the University Hospitals of Derby & Burton).
Due to the retirement of the current post holder, an opportunity has arisen for a project manager to manage a large multicentre clinical research study, the National Unified Renal Translational Research Enterprise (NURTuRE-CKD, www.nurturebiobank.org ).
You will be responsible for monitoring participant follow-up, assisting the UK Renal Registry by monitoring and facilitating resolution of data queries, dealing with protocol updates, managing research governance arrangements, participating in teleconferences and meetings with other staff, the sponsor, collaborators and the chief investigator.
You must be qualified to degree level or have considerable experience within a similar role. You must have an enthusiastic and positive attitude to overcoming obstacles, basic IT and budget management skills including use of simple Excel spreadsheets. Good written and oral communication skills are essential. Previous experience in clinical research and/or project management is desirable.
This is a fixed-term contract post until 31 July 2021 at 29 hours per week. Job share may be considered for this post.
