With a strategic overview of contracts, client negotiations, resourcing, new business management and setting key operational objectives, you will evidence proven experience of drafting contracts for both UK and international projects and ideally possess a strong working knowledge in APAC markets. This is a part-time opportunity for 2-3 days a week and would be well suited to a senior Operations Manager seeking a more flexible working pattern who has experience of working in an international Architecture or Design company.

This is an exciting point to be joining a rapidly growing Architecture & Interior Design studio winning high-profile commercial, retail, residential and mixed-use schemes on a global scale. Led by a dynamic and design-led Principal, the practice has already established meaningful working relationships with some of the world’s most respected Developers and eminent Architecture practices. The Contracts & Operations Manager will be at the forefront of continuing this drive to grow the business in domestic and international markets.

Reporting to the Founder and CEO, the part-time Contracts & Operations Manager will provide expertise in:

  • Drafting client contracts and negotiating project fees (both from the original project and additional requests)
  • Preparing annual studio budgets
  • Updating monthly forecasts for revenue and profits
  • Managing invoicing, debt collection and credit control
  • Efficiently resourcing existing projects and new business opportunities (including under/overservicing of projects)
  • Setting business and financial goals
  • Recommending actions to improve performance and profitability
  • Recruiting the very best in emerging and established Architectural talent

With a calm, tactical and considered character, the successful candidate will communicate key objectives to all levels of the studio and will be able to inspire individual team members of their significance towards collective goals. Able to thrive under pressure, the Contracts & Operations Manager will skilfully navigate any unplanned situations and keep the business on track to hit targets. Experience with CMAP is advantageous, but not essential.

If you are seeking a professionally challenging and rewarding role at the heart of one of Architecture’s most exciting teams, we would like to hear from you – apply today!

We will do our very best to help you find your ideal job. Our approach is personable and we believe that your job hunting experience should be enjoyable. We look forward to hearing from you.
