We are looking for Registered Midwives (3)

Certificate

Full-Time


1. Completed Midwifery training from an institute recognised by the government of South Sudan 2. Midwifery license from the relevant regulatory authorities of the Republic of South Sudan 3. EmOC training desireable but not absolutely required 4. Must have at least one year of experience. 5. Good team work spirit. 6. A willingness to learn new skills 7. Self-motivated 8. Femal candidates are strongly advised to apply.


• Examining, diagnosing, monitoring women during pregnancy, delivery and post delivery period. • Provide ANC services in accordance to the acceptable standards • Identifying high risk pregnancies and pregnancies and making referrals to the nearest medical facility. • Monitoring the condition of the mother, foetus and progress of labour during labour and delivery. • Conduct normal deliveries • Provide postnata.l c~e services to women post delivery m accordance to acceptable standards. • Provide family planning counselling and services to clients • Provide individual and group health education for antenatal, postnatal and family planning clients on key reproductive health issues • Encourage participation of family members in supporting the mother during antenatal, delivery and postpartum period. • Maintain and update an inventory for equipment and delivery instruments, ensuring they are available and operational. • Ensure proper and accurate records according to the Government, UNHCR's AND IMC policies. • Participate in supervision and training of Traditional Birth Attendants. • Any other tasks that will be assigned to her.
