•	University Master Degree from accredited institution in Project planning and management, Social sciences are preferred
•	Compensated experience in managing membership based organisation shall be an added advantage
•	Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work under close supervision as well as willingness to move to other remote areas across the country
•	Strong skill in capacity building and team management
•	Must possess strong ability to carry out staff coaching and mentoring
•	Must be objective and result oriented, assuring proper and timely implementation of the program activities
•	High flexibility to operate in a dynamic organisation governed by members and voluntary board.
•	Computer literate and proficient; including knowledge of data management development
•	Represent SSAPU in its agenda of lobby and advocacy networks
•	Build and manage  relationships with relevant bodies of the government and international partners
•	Support implementation of SSAPU annual action plan and budget Control
•	Support staff career development andprofessionalization
•	Develop proposals for lobby, projects
•	Prepare and make quarterly activities reports to the board members as well as donor
•	Develop program monitoring and evaluation system to help benchmark the performance of the projects.
•	Support the board members in organising board meetings
