Provide administrative, clerical support and services to management and assist with special projects as needed.
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant 1 for our Safety Assessment, Quarantine Services site located Frederick, Maryland.
Responsibilities include: Provide administrative support to management team and the operation. Including but not limited to, Answering phones, relay information and requests and follow-up as needed. Prepare routine documents and forms. Establish and maintain files. Schedule meetings, travel arrangements, provide assistance relating to office operations and established policies and procedures. May greet visitors, set up and assist with preparing expense reports, handle scheduling for one or more conference rooms, order office supplies, ensure office equipment is maintained and/or shipping activities for the department. With guidance, handle special projects such as data collection, report creation, database maintenance, contacting personnel for routine updates, etc.
Education: High School or G.E.D. and specialized secretarial training beyond High School. Associate's degree (A.A. /A.S.) or equivalent from two year college preferred.
Experience: One to two years office experience. Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and handle interruptions with professionalism. Good keyboarding skills, proficient in utilizing computer and MS Office suite).
