**What You Will Do**

**Role & Responsibilities**

In this role, you will provide support for calendaring, travel, expenses, along with management and oversight of special projects, as needed.

To perform these tasks effectively, you will be expected to become familiar with the products, people, and organizational dynamics within Leadership and Team Intelligence and the broader Cisco organization. You will be expected to understand how to handle, with a great degree of independence, incoming asks for time, meetings, resources and other needs from the Leader and members of his/her team. You will be responsible for determining when to refer matters to others, and to whom they should be referred. You will be responsible for following up to ensure proper disposition, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You will become a core member of the Leader's team, attending regular staff meetings and all team meetings. You will collaborate with and coordinate activities with other EA's and executives in Cisco. You will work closely with the executive assistants across Cisco. Work is generally of a critical and confidential nature.

+ Calendar Management: Manages the calendar of the Senior Vice President by prioritizing schedules and meetings; Decides who gets on the executive's calendar, which meetings are attended, and who can attend in his place. Prioritizing weekly rituals of individual check-ins with LTI Leadership Team and the HR Leadership Team.

+ Correspondence/Approvals: Supports SVP by acting as proxy for communications and approvals as authorized. Answers general questions as necessary and refers (filters) routine matters to appropriate parties and follows up to ensure proper disposition.

+ Champion Improvements: Provide guidance to other employees regarding new methods, assignments or procedures. Suggest relevant process improvements.

+ Manages Staff Meetings: The LTI leadership team relies on the weekly staff meeting as a team check-in to determine priorities and sharing of cross-team priorities. It is the EA's responsibility to ensure this weekly ritual is kept, maintained and prioritized across all schedules weekly. This role manages meeting notes, and action item follow up as well as agenda topics.

+ Plans Quarterly Offsite: In partnership with the Chief of Staff, this role manages all logistics of the offsite including hotel rooming, meeting rooms, calendars, food and team events. In addition this role is responsible for meeting notes and distribution.

+ Special Projects: Completes special projects accurately and in a timely manner as directed. Provides analytical support to assist on special projects. Researches issues, analyzes problems, compiles data, and prepares reports and presentations.

**Who You Are**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ 5+ years of experience in an Executive Administrative or Project Coordination environment

+ AA Degree Preferred

+ Proven work history reflecting support of senior management, ability to make sound decisions, ability to take action, direct action and motivate others to do the same

**Desired Skills**

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with all levels of Executive/Senior staff and clients.

+ Demonstrated high level of tact and integrity.

+ Collaborative style with demonstrated creativity and team focus in a dynamic, fast-paced, and changing environment.

+ Works in an organized and disciplined manner. Detail oriented.

+ Demonstrated resourcefulness in solving problems, making decisions and seeking cross-functional support to achieve success

+ Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately to complete project work.

+ Expert level knowledge of Windows desktop computer applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

+ Advanced desktop calendar management program experience.
