We are looking for Sports complex – Finance Manager
Applicants must be qualified Accountants with at least CIMA or ACCA or its equivalent.
A minimum of two years post qualification experience
Knowledge, Skills and Ability
Ability to make good financial decisions.
Knowledge of principles, practices and methods of management and supervision of staff.
Knowledge of computer applications such as ACCPAC, Microsoft Office.
Skills in both verbal and written communication in English.
Ability to work effectively in a matrix/complex organizational relationship requiring strong influencing and
Ability to quickly identify trends and develop/implement effective solutions.
Maintaining a daily up to date balance sheet and monthly summary of expenditure
Prepare weekly income and expense reports
Prepare weekly payment schedule which prioritise on income generation commodities and COM
Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
Advising management on cost benefit analysis for major functions.
Review monthly banking reconciliation
Analyses of financial data and extract and define relevant information, interpret data for the purpose of
determining past financial and/or project financial probability.
Advise management on financial matters and establish appropriate policies and procedures for ensuring
compliance with legal and professional standards.
Analyse budget patterns and projects expenditure.
Facilitate revision of budgets in line with approved budgets
Prepare variance analysis report for management
Prepare unbundled financial performance reports
Facilitate timely submission of MRA returns.
Ensure internal controls are in place
Carry out end of month stock take
Carry out periodic audits of income centres.
Facilitate timely debt collection
