The post is for a fixed term, part time Department Administrator in the Faculty of Sport, Health and Applied Science. We are an established base for a number of specialised programmes and sector innovations. At both undergraduate and postgraduate level, we are committed to offering vocationally relevant programmes of study with the highest academic standards. All staff within the faculty are encouraged to nurture and educate our students, preparing them to be ready to meet the challenges of today and anticipate those of tomorrow.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with a passion to work in Higher Education; with proven administrative and organisational skills; a person who pays attention to detail, and has good time management, prioritising skills and the ability to communicate effectively and cheerfully with both students and staff. The successful candidate will use both current in house IT systems and SITS databases. The successful applicant would be the first point of contact for student and staff queries regarding programmes, and work closely with Programme Directors and Heads of Department. They would also be responsible for tasks the Faculty Business Manager and Dean may wish to delegate at the time.
