**Summary of Essential Job Duties:**

Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Clinical Nutrition, provides administrative support in the department performing and coordinating administrative duties which may include responsibility for specific business activities such as human resources, budget and finance, supplies and inventory, etc. Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills in applying detailed knowledge of the responsibilities, functions and underlying management structure of the department and the larger Healthy System in organizing and prioritizing work. Establishes procedures and systems to ensure the timely completion of work assignments in accord with the established timelines.

**Experience:**

1 to 2 years of administrative/clerical experience preferred.

Experience demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks frequently with short timelines, to prioritize and organize work, and to complete assignments in a timely, accurate manner.

Ability to interact effectively with Directors, Managers, internal staff, patients and representatives of public agencies and businesses.

Demonstrated ability to compose letters, policy statements, procedure manuals and reports on own initiative; ability to organize complex statistical and narrative reports, charts and exhibits into complete documents suitable for publication and distribution.

Ability to edit material and ensure correct punctuation, spelling and grammar.

**Educational Requirements:**

High School Diploma/GED required.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
