Job Description

We are looking for SNAP Consortium Intern

Bachelor

Full-Time


· Degree in psychology, counselling, social work, gender related studies or other relevant discipline · Knowledge & Understanding on Gender Equality and Empowerment including an ability to provide psychosocial counselling · Excellent and proven communicator able to communicate to a wide range of audiences including an ability to communicate in Somali · Resourcefulness, flexibility, good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and to meet deadlines. · Demonstrable experience of working for or with right-based or development organisation. Good understanding of children’s issues, rights, development and humanitarian issues, and the ability to relate Save the Children’s work within this context.


· Support the Consortium Manager in coordination of Consortium activities including organising meetings, preparation of agenda, drafting minutes, sharing meeting minutes · Support consortium Manager in follow up of meeting action points with partners and field teams · Act as a link between Consortium Management Unit and Field teams to promote two-way communication and accountability
