We are looking for National Officer, Sub-National Parliamentary Support, Mandalay, Myanmar

Full-Time


A Master in Political Science, Development Studies, Economics, Human Rights and/or Law or a related discipline; Experience: Master degree require 2 years of relevant working experience in fields such as design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects, providing capacity development and training; Proven project cycle management experience with sound knowledge and experience in all aspects of project cycle (design, implementation, monitoring & evaluation); Experience in report-writing; Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams. Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages, and handling of web based management systems.


Supports developing programme strategies under the sub-national parliamentary output; Manages sub-national parliamentary activities in the field of parliamentary outreach and public relations at the region and state levels; Supports coordination across the UNDP programme at the region, state and local levels; Develops and foster relations with local stakeholders at the region, state and local levels; and Collects information and provides analysis on economic and political events at the region, state and local levels relevant to the UNDP's parliamentary strengthening output. Under the direct supervision of the Programme Specialist, Sub-national Parliament, and working closely with the Outreach and Public Information Officer, the incumbent supports coordination and implementation in the programme area of region and state-level parliamentary strengthening:
