Requirements
• Diploma or degree on logistics related course preferred
• Two (2) years of experience in transport management and logistics in NGO setting preferred
• Supervisory and management experience
• Computer skills in MS Excel and MS Word
• Good interpersonal skills
• Can work with multiple priorities
• Good spoken and written English and Arabic
• Willing to work on extended hours
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work simultaneously on multip le tasks
• Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with other units
• South Sudanese nationality required

Responsibilities
• Ensures that the fleet management policy and procedures are consistently followed.
• Ensures that proper daily vehicle log sheet, daily vehicle checklist are duly completed and
place them in relevant files/folders inside the vehicle.
• Ensures proper transport planning and cost effective utilization of transport services in a
coordinated manner with relevant units.
• Ensures that all vehicle documents are regularly, accurately and completely filled out.
Immediately flag to the Operations Officer any discrepancies.
• Ensures that communication devices (i.e., VHF) in the vehicles are in good working condition.
• Ensures that insurance, registration of the vehicles are valid and organized with Operations
Officer on timely renewal.
• Maintains and updates the fuel consumption record for each vehicle and provide a weekly
and monthly reports to the Operations Officer.
• Prepares accident reports and submits to Operations Officer in a timely manner (within 24
hours after the incident).
• Manages the day to day operations of all stores and ensures that storekeeping and asset
management systems are consistently implemented.
• Ensures that all inventories and asset movement (in and out) are correctly recorded.
• Maintains appropriate stock levels at all time.
• Ensures that inventory and assets are stored in a safe and secure manner.
• Ensures that the stores are maintained in an orderly and clean condition at all time.
• Prepares and submits monthly inventory and asset reports to Operations officer in a timely
manner.
• Organizes the shipment of goods and materials and ensures complete and proper
documentation in compliance to inventory and asset management system and procedures.
• Responsible for tracking all cargo movements to final destination.
• In coordination with relevant staff, responsible in the receipt of goods/ items (assets,
properties, fuel, consumables) from vendors or other agencies ensuring compliance to EM
policies and procedures.
• In collaboration with relevant staff, f lags to Operations Officer, any discrepancies in the
delivery of goods as indicated in the Purchase Order (PO).
• Maintain shipment and delivery related files (i.e. waybills, Goods Delivery Note (GDN).
• Supervises the Head driver in the performance of his/ her job.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time t o time.
