Requirements
This position r,equires a Master's Degree in education, preferably with a specialty in early childhood development and at least 5 years of experience in programs in Tanzania that work to improve pre-primary reading and writing is required. Prior experience with the development of early childhood development programs, training programs, classroom monitoring protocols, and tests and assessments. Proven ability to · lead, manage, and facilitate implementation. Excellent communication skills andability (verbal and written). Strong interpersonal skills and ability. Responsibilities
• Conduct material and practice assessment on current pre-primary approaches in Tanzania
• Conduct assessment on the existing pre-primary frameworks, teacher guides and student kits, where existing
• Develop scope and sequence and lesson plans to pilot on small scale.
• Develop pre-primary learning materials and pre-primary teacher guides
• Train master trainers and support program teacher training
• Develop monitoring and classroom assessment tools
• Field-test developed teaching and learning materials and incorporate the feedback from the field prior to finalization for
printing.
