Maureva Ltd is currently looking for a Health and Safety Officer (Part-time)


Duties and Responsibilities

  • To facilitate compliance with occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and to maintain safety in the workplace.
  • Ensuring that all OSH policies, procedures, rules and regulations are adhered to and are regularly reviewed updated and communicated.
  • Carrying out regular inspections and make necessary recommendations and follow up to ensure implementation of corrective actions; and carrying out risk assessments and implement preventive measures.
  • Conducting health and safety induction.
  • Ensuring that all PPE are provided with proper training.
  • Providing regular reports to the Administrative Manager on relevant health and safety activities.
  • Carry out any other duties as specified by OSHA.



  • Diploma/BSc (Hons) Occupational Safety and Health Management.
  • Registered as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer with the Ministry of Labour.
  • Very good knowledge of legislation (OSHA) and procedures.
  • Professional approach with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work with the minimum of supervision.
  • Effective handling of Health and Safety investigations
  • Excellent verbal, written communication
  • Sound knowledge of First Aid and Fire Warden Procedures.
