Requirements
An advanced university degree (Master's) in Public Health, Social Sciences, Statistics, International
Development, Policy Development, Public Administration and Planning or directly related field(s) is
required.*
* A relevant first-level university degree (Bachelor's), in combination with 2 years of additional relevant
work experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience, at the national and international levels in strategic
planning, monitoring and reporting of social development programmes is required.
Prior hands-on experience in supervisory capacity is required.

Responsibilities
Leads the Programme Division's planning and monitoring function in close coordination with sections
and other Divisions such that that the performance objectives attributed to the Division are met.
In compliance with UNICEF administrative and financial rules, leads the development and execution of
the PD's annual work plan and other planning exercises, Consolidates inputs, identifies areas of risk,
and recommends appropriate corrective actions. Reviews work processes on a regular basis and
together with Chief of Operations the Section's overall funding and budget of PD work plan.
