**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Master's Degree in an accredited educational institution required.

+ Seven (7) years healthcare management experience required.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or Nursing from an accredited educational institution preferred.

+ Five (5) years Practice management experience preferred.

+ Experience in specialty area preferred.

+ Lean process improvement experience preferred.

+ Multi-site or multi-specialty management experience preferred.

+ P&L responsibility preferred.

**Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:**

Under the general supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, Kadlec Clinic, you will be responsible for carrying out the mission, goals and objectives of Kadlec Clinic; Integrate operations with others to insure efficiency and effectiveness of outcomes; and ensure fiscal viability of the clinics to include budget preparation based on strategic direction and anticipated changes in healthcare delivery; remain responsible for participating and supporting the service line directors and interdisciplinary team members in the overall planning, development, coordination, implementation and management of a comprehensive regionally-focused strategy.

+ Partner and collaborates with other Administrative Directors to align patient care, care transitions, programmatic similarities, operational improvements and growth strategies.

+ Utilize the Chief Operations Officer as a resource to manage and direct the overall operations, efficiency, quality, and financial performance of the appropriate practice sites.

+ Manage the flow of the clinic to ensure compliance, efficiency and patient satisfaction.

+ Identify strategy for growth and execute plans to achieve growth goals.

+ Utilize the Chief Quality Officer, Quality Director and the Administrative Director-Nursing to maintain and enhance clinical quality as defined by our providers, evidence-based practices, patients, and referring physicians.

+ Maintain and enhance physician and advanced practice provider productivity and practice operational and financial viability.

+ Ensure the success of assigned Practice Administrators/Managers and practice locations by mentoring, supporting them, and challenging them. Assist them in removing barriers and keeping them engaged with the practice caregivers.

+ Assist each Practice Operating Council (POC) to ensure the success of every physician and other provider in the assigned practices.

+ Ensure that policies, procedures and initiatives adopted by Kadlec Clinic's Practice Operations Council (POC) are implemented in each assigned practice.

+ Ensure appropriate staff competencies are maintained (licensure, certification, orientation, mandatory training continuing education).

+ Collaborate with Human Resources on personnel issues including completing requisitions, interviewing, hiring, and following hospital policy on constructive counseling and progressive discipline.

+ Provide ongoing performance feedback for the Practice Administrator/Manager. Conduct annual performance evaluations for each Practice Administrator/Manager, with input from the relevant POC and support staff.

+ Participate in and works with the POC to develop site-specific action plans to maintain practice operating and financial ratios to exceed practice and system goals.

+ Review operational and financial performance at least monthly with each POC and Practice Administrator/Manager in order to assist in the development of a site-specific action plan for each practice location.

+ Participate with each POC in annual budget development for assigned practices, and hold the Practice Administrator/Manager accountable for practice adherence to budget and other performance objectives.

+ Coordinate revenue cycle initiatives for implementation in all assigned practices. Review point-of-service collections on a weekly basis and accounts receivable management at least monthly with the Practice Administrator/Manager.

+ Mobilize and direct employee and provider teams to develop and achieve operational commitments.

+ Direct ongoing analysis, development, and implementation of methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services and functions.

+ Establish formal and informal relationships with hospitals, surgery centers and providers in the regional market to further deliver excellent patient care, patient safety, and market share growth.

+ Partner with Administration, surgeons, physicians, medical staff, associated system staff, department leaders, and other key individuals to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of outcomes.

+ Maintain communication with Chief Operating Officer, Kadlec Clinic on a weekly basis to review operational issues performance targets as well as other projects defined by Chief Operating Officer, Kadlec Clinic.

**Heart, Lung, Vascular Essential Job Functions:**

+ Align and plan for patients services across the spectrum of care for Heart, Lung and Vascular service line within Kadlec.

+ Partner with organizational Directors for strategic direction for Heart, Lung and Vascular services to ensure alignment with patient and provider needs.

+ Strategically plan services, in association with service line leadership, to meet Heart, Lung and Vascular service line needs including hospital based cardiac and vascular interventional services; oversight of operational team in collaboration with Kadlec Clinic and Kadlec Professional Services.

+ Project and plan for services needs to support of Heart, Lung and Vascular providers in the care of interventional patients.

+ Evaluate service line needs to plan for new services and procedures across the organization (inpatient and outpatient) to meet the needs of patients.
