At Leeds Trinity University, we aspire to make a difference to the people, the professions and the places that we serve, and we are looking for talented and enthusiastic people to join our University community. We are ranked in the top 25 universities in the UK for teaching quality and student experience and 95% of our graduates are employed or in further study within six months. Applications are invited for the following post:

KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE CO-ORDINATOR (PART-TIME)

FIXED TERM FOR 2 YEARS

Salary circa £22K pro rata

We are seeking a new team member to provide administrative and secretarial support and develop processes for the organisation, implementation, recording and reporting of knowledge exchange activity across the University. The successful postholder will be based in the Research and Knowledge Exchange Office and will co-ordinate external enquiries, linking these to staff across the University, including CAWBLs (Centre for Apprenticeships and Work Based Learning) and all three academic Schools.

The successful candidate should have strong proven administrative skills and experience; previous experience in the Higher Education sector, particularly in knowledge exchange, would also be a distinct advantage. Suitable candidates would be able to demonstrate the ability to exercise initiative and have excellent communication and IT skills (to include MS Office). The ability to work as part of a team is a critical aspect of the role, as is a professional and flexible approach to work and good organisational and liaison skills.

Employees of the University have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous contributory pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, on-site sport and fitness centre membership, car park permit scheme and Employee Assistance Programme. We also operate a free shuttle bus to Horsforth station and have an externally owned day nursery facility on campus, along with plenty of shopping, leisure and travel discounts available.

Hours of work will be 17.5 hours per week, to be agreed with the Research and Knowledge Exchange Manager.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS: Monday 20th January 2020

Interviews for this post are expected to take place on Thursday 30th January 2020
