We are looking for Child Welfare Assistant (National Position)
A university degree of law, child protection/rights, developmental /social studies, and other relevant field from world standard recognized university.
Minimum of 03 years’ experience including at least 02 years working for national and international NGOs in child protection/rights sector;
Experienced in Orphan child protection activities, livelihood support to orphan families, Self-help group formation and livelihood skill mapping and
vocational training arrangement and livelihood tools development.
Relevant training of child protection, welfare and rights from recognized institute will adds value.
Knowledge of community based approaches in humanitarian and development settings is desirable.
Knowledge of international standards such as Child protection, Sphere and HAP is desirable.
Competency with the analysis of contextual information, and developing clear, informed recommendations.
Proficiency in English (Written and spoken) is essential
Good IT skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel is essential.
Organized and facilitate meetings with targeted communities and various stakeholders such as schools, village committees, communities leaders, line
Conduct/assist in assessments and data collection to identify the priority needs in project areas
Encoding the field data in prescribed formats.
Project support agreement signing with the beneficiaries.
Communicate feedback from beneficiaries/communities and other key stakeholders to the line management
Support and participate in conduct of trainings and workshops for community and relevant Government counterparts as planned and required;
Work according to detailed implementation plans as directed by line management
Organize and training facilitation for Orphan child protection and live livelihood generation activates to orphan families, orphan awareness session,
self-help group training.
Self-help group formation and skill mapping for vocational training.
Monitoring, guiding and supervise to the Child welfare volunteer/community volunteers
Field visit to target household, cross checking and update accordingly.
Delivery of a range project tasks to support community interventions;
