The Sir John Cass Business School is among the global elite with an established 50-year reputation for excellence in business research and education. The Global Women’s Leadership Programme (GWLP) was founded in 2017 and sits within the School. The programme aims to ‘inspire, equip and connect’ Cass women. The programme supports women through scholarships, skill-based training workshops and inspiring speaker events.
We are seeking a highly motivated Programme Administrator to join Women’s Leadership Programme, who will support the Director in running the Programme.
The appointed Programme Administrator will provide clerical and administrative support to the Director. You will manage the Director’s diary, co-ordinate the planning and organisation of a range of events and meetings, as well as running quarterly marketing and financial reports. In addition, you will support the Director in the selection of the scholars, and respond to enquiries. You will lead the development, maintenance and updating of the database of contacts used by Cass GWLP and assist with the Programme’s newsletter, circulated to our stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be educated to A level standard or equivalent, or possess experience in a similar administrative role. You will be able to work on your own initiative with excellent organisation and time management skills and attention to detail. Strong IT skills along with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required in this role. Some flexibility regarding work and working hours will also be required as the role holder will be required to cover occasional evening board meetings and events. Experience of event management, of maintaining financial records and some knowledge of women development programmes or women organizations is desirable.
