• Bachelor in relevant field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in at least one of the following technical areas: Social work, OVC care, child protection,
early childhood development, and/or parenting
• Fluent in both written and spoken English & Kiswahili
• Experience with PEPFAR 3.0 funded projects in Tanzania
• Experience in training/workshop facilitation, mentoring and proven ability to develop and maintain effective work relationships
with Government and other NGO counterparts.
• Experience in donor-funded programs with demonstrated capacity to create and/or maintain complex systems and procedures
involving multiple implementation sites, multiple partners and diverse beneficiaries
• Dipomacy and negotiation skills that demonstrate ability to collaborate and coordinate with a range of stakeholders and complex
• Support the technical department to disseminate updated guidance, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other job-aids in
two key areas 1) parenting initiatives and 2) child protection activities.
• Provide technical capacity development and mentoring to sub-grantees in the areas of child protection, child safeguarding, and
parenting initiative. .
• Co-develop work plans with sub-grantees and monitor their progress in these technical areas; Monitor sub-grantees adherence to
technical guidance and quality of implementation.
