Holder of B.Com. Advanced Diploma in Accountancy, BBA (Accountancy), BA (Accountancy) plus CPA
(T), ACCAC\MA or equivalent qualification and registered with NBAA as Certified Public Accountant
and must iave at least seven (7) years relevant work experience. Must be conversant with computer
accounting packages.
1. Participate in the formulation of revenue accounting policies, regulation and procedures;
2. Check the accuracy of subsidiary books of accounts and the General ledger
l ssue debtors and creditors analyses and recommends action to be taken
4. verify fixed assets and reconcile the same between general ledger and fixed asset register
5. Check the accuracy and completeness of payment vouchers, journal vouchers and other
accounting records
6. Review weekly cash and debt position i.e. revenue and expenditures;
7. Monitor and control corporate plan and budget;
8. Prepare financial statements;
9. Provide technical guidance and training to subordinates
10. Develop individual targets and performance standards as part of the individual performance
agreement in consultation with the head of section; and
11 Perform any other duties as as5igned by the head of section
