We are looking for a hard-working, honest, dependable self-motivated person to act as our site manager/caretaker and join the committed team of people working for the children and their families. You will value working as part of the team, and be creative and flexible with a positive attitude to the important role you will have in keeping our school premises and outside areas clean and safe for all stakeholders.

Hours of Work

The working week will be up to 25 hours and will require you to be on school premises. Currently the role is a split shift, however there might be some flexibility in timings for the right candidate.

Monday - Friday: 7am - 8.30am and 2.30pm - 6pm Term Time only, with some additional duties during school holidays for specific jobs as decided by the Headteacher. Variations to these times might be necessary on certain occasions when meetings, building work or functions etc are held at the school.

There is the expectation that you would attend any school safeguarding training provided by the school.

Information about the school

Crockenhill Primary School is a community primary school for children aged between 4 and 11 years, occupying an attractive site, at the heart of the village of Crockenhill. We are a one form entry school, with capacity for up to 210 pupils. The school is close to the town of Swanley and boasts excellent road and rail links to London and Kent. Our buildings run seamlessly from Victorian to new build and the classrooms are bright and welcoming. We have a dedicated art room, computer suite and library and several breakout spaces for small group work. The school also has a small wildlife garden and large playing field. The school is very proud of its sporting achievements and actively engages in many tournaments.

We are a lively, happy and hardworking school where positive relationships between all members of the school community are encouraged and maintained.
