Must possess a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology or medical statistics from a recognized University
•     At least three years relevant working experience in epidemiology in a public health organization, research or academia.
1.  Participating in design of epidemiological studies to generate strategic information that can be used in disease control.
2.  Participating in the implementation of disease surveillance activities at national and regional levels
3.  Performing appropriate analyses of collected data and produce periodic (monthly/ quarterly/annually) reports and present them during Resource Center monthly colloquiums.
4.  Participating in the epidemiological modeling, projection and triangulation to generate data on the epidemics and quantify impact of the findings on the epidemic
5.  Participating in the dissemination of epidemiological findings
6.  Participating in the development of the relevant plans and budgets for the Resource Center.
7.  Participating in the formulation of the research agenda in the Ministry and support other technical units in their operation research activities
8.  Participating in the monitoring and evaluation of the national disease programs
9.  Participating in conducting risk & vulnerability assessment of diseases including National disease mapping;
