·       Minimum five years of working in an international or local organisation in Uganda or abroad.

·       Minimum three years of working in resources or land policy issues

·       Significant experience in advocacy and policy, particularly in managing/implementing advocacy-related programming in relation to natural resources or land.
·       Keep abreast of the role of external actors such as the World Bank, ILA, GIZ, IJM, ZOA, LEMU, Landnet and MLHUD amongst others.

·       Read and digest relevant land policy reports and media coverage of specific issues and provide summary analysis on content and tone;

·       Production of timely, relevant policy documents including briefs and reports, on land issues with clear and accurate information.

·       Production of evidence-based policy messages on land issues for staff and partners to use/adapt for advocacy targets.

·       Identify land trends and issues for Country Management Team that may require further analysis.
