Advanced degree in public health, supply chain management, institutional development. business management, finance or related field or minimum or 15 years in
related professional experience
Technical experience in health system strengthening, supply chain management, pharmaceutical management and/or other relevant experience
At least 5 years' of experience in a developing country setting
Experience designing and implementing results based financing initiatives
Demonstrated experience leading the development, implementation, monitoring and
evaluation of supply chain strategic planning initiatives including demand planning activities
Demonstrated success developing and implementing project work plans and managing
performance against objectives and timelines
Develop and implement annual work plans and budgets that reflect the priorities of USAID, the ministry of health, and other stakeholders
Identify capacity gaps and arrange for appropriate training, mentoring and coaching of project staff
Ensure the use of appropriate management methodologies to plan, organize, and
manage resources to achieve GHSC goals in Tanzania
lead the development and implementation of the program's knowledge management
Develop, update, and implement performance monitoring plan that encompasses commodity security and logistics management indicators and includes project-wide
performance measures
lead change management strategies to cultivate a culture of data use across the project
Support the operationalization and routine monitoring of national supply chain strategic plans
Oversee regular data collection, data quality assessments and reporting and lead
quarterly reviews of performance analysis to identify issues and drive evidence-based
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for technical services provided by the project
Support the enhancement of various management information systems
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders in the provision of assistance to build the capacity and capability of national systems
Report results of the project's work to USAID, ministry of health, other funders, and the home office
Provide consistent supply chain thought leadership, leveraging private sector practices
and promoting knowledge sharing where appropriate
Ensure timely submission of all deliverables
