First degree in Business Administration / Accounting or related field.
At least three  years demonstrated experience in grants design and administration or preferably in the area of economic growth. Prior background in grants
award and grants management and prior experience in the award and administration of sub contracts is advantageous
Working know ledge of Donor Contract Management and Gran t Management policies and procedure required, preferably in World Bank funded activities.
Fluency in written and spoken English and Somali is required.
Strong organizational, numeracy and financial skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Assist in Du e Diligence activities including site visits and report writing.
Assist in pre-contracting negation and preparing grant agreement, reporting template, updating work plan and budget
Assist in business concept note (CN) registration, sorting and evaluation.
Communicate s regularly with the applicants about the status of their application, site visit activities and other grant related updates.
Assist Business Regional Advisor (RBA) in the implementation of the program activities.
Update grants data in the DAI database system, with necessary grant information on a weekly basis.
Document the grants processes and file required  documentation according  to DAI records map.
Check financial reports of the grantees and provide assistance in disbursem ents
Ensure that TAMIS is continually maintained and updated to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of grant activities
