Requirements
 Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing strategies and platforms for learning – organisational, programmatic, and policy-oriented – in a conflict-affected/development-focused setting
 Demonstrable programmatic experience in using outcome-focused approaches to show impact in contexts that are volatile, conflict-affected or experiencing protracted conflict
 Proven experience of innovative thinking to engage staff and partners to become active learners and evaluators of their work
 Experience providing remote support to colleagues and partners
 Experience of participatory field research, preferably in a conflict-affected/development-focused

Responsibilities
 Lead on design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of a learning strategy for the ARC programmes, and ensure learning is widely shared.
 Coordinate/develop methodologies and systems for evaluation to capture learning from our work, based on country results and the overall ARC results framework and ensure Saferworld has the right tools and guidance to support learning.
 Promote a culture of active learning within Saferworld’s methodology, building and sustaining links across policy, programme and core teams.
 Analyse policy issues relevant to designated country teams’ programming areas, including assessment opportunities to enhance impact
 Develop and maintain an innovative dissemination and feedback approach that reaches out to active knowledge networks, think tanks, policy influencers, and regional decision-makers, and successfully bridges programme and policy practitioners
