Requirements
University degree in Procurement and Supplies Management
or equivalent and registered member of PSPTB plus at least 3
years in the field.
Conditions
Age not less than 40 years
Responsibilities
To formulate/implement measures meant to detect/curb
losses of stock kept in godowns.
To make perpetual surprise stock checks at all company
stock/selling centres and verify the physical quantities
against docum~nts.
To verify and reconcile cash collected against stocks sold on
a daily basis.
To verify whether sales, and operations procedures are being
followed.
To verify prices applied in all sales centres, and institute
recovery measures in case of undercharges/collection.
To reconcile stock records against physical stocks on a
partiCular date by casting all documents involved in stock
movement.
To analyze and report to the General Manager unforeseen
problems regarding stocks and stocking procedures to
which corrective measures can be applied for management
action.
To institute and supervise c6mpany stock taking as per laid
down stock taking policy and procedures.
To compile reports on any findings and recommend solution
for management action.
• To perceive organizational laid down procedures subjected
to individual distortions and immediately institute
corrective action.
To avail formal reports to the General Manager on all the
above areas of responsibility and submit a monthly activity
report on the 2nd of each month.
To perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to
time by the General Manager
