Responsibilities
irect Client support As a direct client’s support service provider, the SGBV Officer will carry out routine provision of psychosocial support, counseling, referrals and advice clients on sexual and gender related cases to Refugee clients; Conduct field visits and follow up with clients in the different refugee settlement across the country; Support in management of the SGBV/P emergency medical fund and coordinate the emergency medical referral to approved medical service providers and the home based medical care scheme for the sexual minority clients; Coordinate the HIV/AIDS and SRHR issues and provide the client with referral for medical attention as necessary; Provide technical support to sexual and gender based support groups; Plan, develop and implement client care and communication strategies including establishing close working ties with relevant partner organisations; and Support the legal team, as necessary, in provision legal representation to refugee clients on sexual and gender related cases.
