Requirements
• University degree preferable in Social Sciences or related field .
• Working knowledge of M&E application, methodology and development issues.
• Data collection/research experience of 8+ years.
• Fluency in English and 1 or more of the following languages: Nuer, Dinka, Shilluk, Azande.
• Experience in implementing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of
reports.
• Proven computer skills, including Microsoft Word.
• Strong facilitation skills.

Responsibilities
• Read relevant documents, such as the desk study previously prepared by MSI, the Task Order
Plan, and other re levant documents.
• Participate in week-long training.
• Take a conflict analysis self-assessment. _
• Review tools in English and other languages and adjust as needed.
• Pilot tools and adjust a~ needed.
• Actively contribute to discussing necessary conflict sensitivity measures in South Sudan on an
on-going basis.
• Schedule data collection visits as needed.
• Support MSl's Team Leader in managing the data collection process and ensuring the quality of
the data being collected.
• Conduct data collection through surveys, key informant interviews and focus group discussions
• Participate in daily debriefs on data collection
