Bachelor’s degree in Law / Business Administration or a business related field.
    3 to 5 years’ experience in banking or related financial institution with experience particularly in compliance A good understanding of laws and regulations governing financial institutions A good understanding of policies, processes, procedures and controls of financial institutions Energetic and ability to be active throughout and willingness to learn
    High level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality Excellent communication skills and high level of customer care

Responsibilities
Identify and assess the compliance risk associated with the institution’s current and proposed future business activities, including new products, systems, new business relationships and any extension of operations or network on an international level:
Identify and keep an inventory available to all staff of essential laws and regulation: internal policies, manuals, guidelines and procedures pertinent to the organization:
Oversee the identification and reporting of any
significant regulatory compliance breaches or gaps.
Assess the appropriateness of internal policies, procedures and guidelines, ensure a follow-up of any identified deficiencies, make recommendations for amendments, where necessary, and supervise the implementation of corrective measure to mitigate the identified deficiencies:
