Requirements
Bachelors degree in related field, a masters or postgraduate degree preferred (or substantial equivalent business
experience)
Minimum of 5 years experience in the related field, i.e. minimum 2 years of Management position.

Responsibilities
Locate potential revenue generating opportunities within the Transportation industries as well as direct sale of
corresponding services, focusing on, but not limited to; Statutory Periodic Vehicle Technical Inspection, Axle
Load Control Program, Transportation e-single windows solutions, ISO and other brand certifications services to
TRP industries, Driving Licence, Car Registration and Plate securitization services, Fields services, acquisition of
Complimentary Organizations.
Assist in development of strategy for SGS's successful entry into the Transportation services marketplace .
Implement the Transportation Sales Plan, supported by KPl's in accordance with the SGS statement of integrity and
in compliance to all the relevant SGS East Africa operational quality policies and procedures.
Conduct documented sales planning as per KPl's targets set by Transportation Business Manager.
Leads technical questions and objections by clarifying, emphasizing and working through difference to a positive
conclusion.
Work Closely with Global Technical Teams on all technology related aspects of the solution by coordinating bids,
solution development and alignment. Employ a 'sell with' approach.
Work with Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Management to develop formal quotations for existing and new
clients (RFP/RFQs).
Ensure targets for proposals, client's visits, sa les of new clients and sales revenue for the Transportation solutions are
achieved; ensure follow-up on proposals and continue to cultivate client relationships after acquisition with periodical
reporting.
