A degree in a marketing related discipline.
Minimum 7 years· experience in trade marketing activations and rich sales experiences.
Very good knowledge of the retail market in Kenya.
Vast experience in market and route planning .
Proven success negotiating with partners to create experiences that support brand and products.
Experience working for brands that engage consumers through disruptive marketing.
Proven success driving awareness, engagement, and conversion results for trade products.
Agency and partnership management experience.
Experience with channel marketing measurement.
An energized, organized and business-driven approach is highly desirable.
Strategic thinking with a strong operational and effective hands-on approach.
Good role-based leadership and ability to make decisions.
Driving license with BCE approvals a MUST
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, apply in-depth knowledge of market dynamics, consumer/
shopper insights and channel expectations to develop initiatives for activating the trade channels
and drive product uptake.
Work Interdepartmentally with Brand Communications Manager and sales team to develop trade
execution tactical tools.
Market Mapping/Segmentation of Market and defining Distribution objectives.
Create and manage trade-specific tactics that drive sales at the retail level.
Responsible for development of regional trade programs that tie to overall thematic sales and
communication agenda to support markets.
Manage partnerships that compliment national brands and promotional periods as necessary
