About Company: The core responsibility of MWAUWASA is to supply safe and clean water abstracted from Lake Victoria mainly at Capri-point intake station (‘Bondeni’); treated by a modern Capri-point Water Treatment Plant to meet required water quality standards and distributed through water piped networks to customers in Mwanza City and other designated operational areas such as Kisesa Township.Eventually, MWAUWASA is geared at attaining its corporate objectives as enshrined in its vision and mission, demonstrated in its quality policy and reflected in its core values.

Requirements
Possession of Public Relations degree or Mass Communication Degree
from a recognized Institution; At least 5 years working experience in
public relations and media issues from reputable organizations 3 of
which being in senior position; Masters degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication or Management is an added advantage; and,
Conditions
Should not be above 45 years of age
Responsibilities
The employee's duties includes but not limited to the following:-
Strive to improve relations between the Authority and its customers
and the general public.
Keeps the public informed of all relevant events and development
within the Authority.
Keeps the employees informed of all relevant events and
development within and outside the Authority.
Keeps news papers, periodicals and bulletins that are of interest
to the authority and order and arranges for the same for the
Authority use.
Helps in making the Authority publications and others that
promote ttre image of the Authority.
Accompanies visitors to the Authority Affixes and Installations.
Advises the Managing Director in all issues relating to public
relat ions, media and communications.
Advises management members in all public relation matters.
Conduct performance appraisal to all subordinate in the section.
Carries out any other duties as may be assigned by his/her
superior.
