Requirements
• Medical or Nursing degree required, with additional post-graduate training in public health desirable
• At least 5 years demonstrated experience working in one or more areas of biomedical HIV prevention including: HIV care and
treatment (required), HIV Testing Services, TB and TB/HIV, PMTCT, and Community Based HIV Services
• Proven supervision and leadership skills, as well as skills in training, facilitation, team building and coordination
• Strong leadership and technical capacity to support service delivery, especially at the community level
• Excellent grasp of clinical issues and current literature HIV/AIDS, family planning, TB and STls
• Strong change management, results-oriented and decision-making skills
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills in English and Kiswahili.
• Experience in KVP or related programs
• Experience in planning, developing, implementing and evaluating HIV public health programs
• Experience working in the Tanzanian public health sector highly desirable particularly in areas of HTC, HIV care and treatment,
family planning, and TB.
• Experience with laptop computers, email, whatsapp, MS office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
• Experience working with USG programs is highly desirable
• Experience and understanding of the PEPFAR framework is desirable
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work on weekends when necessary
• Ability to travel in and out of Njombe, and Dar es Salaam for up to 70%

Responsibilities
Lead the Sauti community-based ART portfolio in Njombe and Dar es Salaam regions in coll~boration with staff, implementing
partners and other key stakeholders -
Ensure implementation of community-based ART adheres to the approved protocols, GOT SOC (where applicable) and SOPs
Plan and roll out ART-related trainings to biomedical providers (nurses, clinicians, laboratory technicians and pharmacy
technicians)
Train and technically supervise the peer educators (PE)on demand creation
Coordinate with the SBCC team on the development and roll out of the PE orientation package on community ART demand
creation
Coordinate with the NMRI and Population Council team on the development and roll out of the biomed providers orientation
package on community ART SOP and study procedures
Plan and roll out R/CHMT related meetings and orientation
Facilitate the identification of platforms for community-based ART delivery • WORTH+ groups, Empowerment clubs, brothels
Develop linkages between community ART service delivery and mother Care and Treatment Clinics
Establish and oversee ARV medications flow managed by the pharmacy technician
Establish and monitor data management I reporting flow for CBHTC client monitoring and mother CTC data synchronization.
Monitor the identification of HIV-infected FSW, ART counselling and initiation by supervising the team of nurses, clinicians,
laboratory technicians and pharmacy technicians ·
Monitor the ART adherence, retention and viral load through regular clinical files review
Review progress to programmatic targets and maximum study sample size ensuring not to exceed approved sample size
Manage study activities and communicate weekly to the Pl and co-investigators on study progress, challenges, solutions and any
problems
