Requirements
• University degree in Civil Engineering, Water related subject or related fields;
• Knowledge and experience in development or emergency work/context is an
asset;
• Minimum 4-6 years of relevant working experience in a busy environment within
an NGO environment
• Driving Licence.
• Fully computer literate (Microsoft Office) and good knowledge of other ICT equipment.

Responsibilities
• Providing advice and support on technical WASH Component;
• Planning and implementation of hygiene promotion trainings and practical
activities to lDPs primary schools' students and staff;
• Planning and implementation of water management trainings and supervision of
water management committees work, in coordination with the relevant State
organs;
• Organize, coordinate and supervise monthly soap distributions in IDP camps in
Wau;
• Select and carry out suitable water quality controls;
• Supervise all WASH hardware constructions. ensure they are done in a
technically sound and an environmental friendly way and provide suggestions for
corrections/improvements;
• Ensure regular and timely documentation and reporting of WASH activities and
collection of program indicators according to Malteser and donor standards
• Identify and monitor risks, constraints and escalating issues, and provide
guidance in addressing the risks and challenges;
• Carry out (participate) in assessment and other relevant studies, individually,
with colleagues or with partners;
• Perform any other duty assigned by the Program Manager.
