Responsibilities
1. Coordinate, supervise, etc national staff of the programme;
2. Coordinate with CLTS Regional Coordinator, district's focal persons
and other project partner and government institutions;
3. Represent ONGAWA in meetings and other stake holders
institutional meetings;
4. Follow up any challenges that may arise affecting the programme;
check the cause and look for consensus solutions.
5. Coordinate phasing out of activities jointly programmed with the
beneficiary communities at the end of the project implementation,
, including the integration of health and sanitation, education at the
village level.
6. Coordinate the team and assist the M&E Officer in the elaboration
and implementation of the Training Program to the Water, Health
and School Committees, SWASH clubs, CLTS committee, Village
Government, etc.
7. Participate actively in the testing, design and implementation of
hygiene and sanitation promotion activities and messages among
the assigned community in coordination with the ward education
and health coordinator.
8. Supervise and facilitate Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS),
Sanitation Marketing including the activities of SWASH program in
the primary schools.
9. Participate/assist in briefing of new expatriates on community
development issues.
1 O. Coordinate weekly and monthly ONGAWA team meetings and other
group activities.
11 . Assist other ONGAWA projects in the country when required.
12. Participate in any kind of event related to the programme activities
when considered by the project manager
13. Monitoring and follow up of all activities foreseen in the project;
14. Liaise with local leaders and beneficiaries for the activities'
implementation;
15. Preparation of village development plans of pastoral water points,
under the supervision of WASH senior advisor;
16. Coordination Hygiene and Sanitation activities, implementation and
revision of plans and BoQ preparation;
17. Work planning and organization, staff responsibility and movement;
18. In cooperation with ONGAWA Administration support the
preparation of tender documents pursuant the procurement plan,
bidding and award of the contracts. Authorization of payment.
Compilation of purchase forms;
19. Responsible for assuring ONGAWA internal procedures with
international and national staff;
20. Administer the project budget following the organization and Donor procedures;
