Requirements
Master’s degree in International Development, Public Health, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Social and/or Political Science or a related field from an
accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience; or
University degree in the above fields with four years of relevant professional experience

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain dialogue related to the safety and security of IOM staff and protection of missions assets with local and national security services,
the UN Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS), and the government sector. Properly maintain vehicles and ensure MOSS compliance in all activities.
2. Oversee the administrative functions of the sub-office, including, but not limited to:
3. a) Managing staff and ensuring IOM rules and regulations are implemented;
4. b) Monitoring and supervising the financial expenditures of the office;
5. c) Approving payments and managing funds;
6. d) Supervising procurement and logistics services, including contracts with suppliers of goods and services.
7. Contribute to establishing and maintaining strong partnership and liaison with implementing partners, the donor community, government entities, local
authorities, UN agencies and other stakeholders; promoting dialogue, information sharing and cooperation among government and non-government actors.
8. Represent IOM in Somaliland to coordinate programme activities with the Government of Somaliland and the United Nations to ensure effective
programme implementation, under the guidance of Chief of Mission.
