An Advanced University Degree in Nutrition, Public Health or a technical field related to the work of UNICEF.
A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible professional work experience in project administration, monitoring and evaluation, and capacity
Developing country work experience (for IP) or field work experience (for NO).
Fluency in English and a second UN working language is an asset.
1. Collect and analyze programme data for the Situational Analysis, programme/project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation purposes.
2. Undertake ongoing visits to UNICEF project sites, assess local conditions and resources, and monitor UNICEF capacity and human resource development
3. Undertake follow-up actions on capacity development programme implementation activities and supports zonal offices with human resource capacity
development for nutrition at the regional and district levels and prepares reports.
4. Attend technical cooperation meetings, prepare notes and undertake follow up actions.
5. Select and compile training and orientation materials for programme implementation.
6. Assist in preparation of country programme recommendations by drafting CPSS, PSS and other relevant documentation ensuring adherence to established
rules and regulations.
7. Evaluate and analyze nutrition monitoring reports to ensure that data and findings are consistent.
