About Company: The Dodoma abattoir was built by the Government of Tanzania between 2002 and 2003, and it began to operate in 2004. The Directorate of Tanzania Livestock Marketing Project in the Ministry of Livestock Development and Fisheries oversaw the construction of the Abattoir and actually operational the year 2004 to 7th November 2008 when the Government of Tanzania privatized and hands over the Dodoma abattoir to local investors NICOL and National Ranch Corporation (NARCO ) in 2008. The NICOL and NARCO formed a company that operates the Dodoma abattoir under the name of Tanzania Meat Company (TMCL) Limited.

Requirements
Bachelor Degree/Advanced Dipl. /Equivalent in Veterinary I Animal Health and Production from a recognized University/Institution in
Tanzania.
Must be a Computer Literate ,
High sense of integrity, honest, impartiality and loyalty;
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the same post or at Seni.or level (In capacity of being Production Manager, Head of Department)
Having an experience of working with Meat Industry is an added advantage

Responsibilities
Reporting to the general Manager on your daily operations
Allocation and schedule of production shift
Supervises and manage all shift supervisors, sections in charge in production department.
To manage the quality of meat and skin to meet international standards.
To manage and control proper use of water, electricity and working tools in production department.
To ensure company target and objectives are met.
To manage and oversee general food safety and hygiene are complied.
To ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) are complied by the staff.
To oversee the day-to-day activities of production department.
Manage general employee's performance and attendance·in production department.
Preparation of monthly departmental report and report to general manager
Ensure employees health and safety and management of First aid Kit Box.
Ensure effective control of cold rooms (chiller) by avoiding and restricting unauthorized meat material are not put in cold rooms (chiller).
To supervise and ensure no animals is slaughtered before payment of slaughter fees.
Ensure cleanness of the employees, uniforms and maintain hygiene standards .
Hand any other duties and responsibilities as will be assigned by seniors/top management
