Requirements
PhD in appropriate area.
Relevant practical experience as a researcher in medical research, epidemiology or public health.
Practical experience in the implementation and co-ordination of large studies.
Experience of management and team building.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary scientific team.
Good publication record commensurate with experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Experience in writing grant applications.
A medical qualification and being currently clinically active.
Experience of working in developing countries

Manage, motivate, supervise and support junior scientific staff in implementation and conduct of research studies, ensuring consistency in approach across studies.
Build and maintain communications between health care staff, public health staff and researchers.
