• At least a Bachelor degree in education management, community development or another related discipline; Postgraduate level qualification an advantage.
• Minimum five years’ practical and hands on experience in education management or other similar experience preferably in the education sector.
• Familiarity with the rural cultural, social and traditional contexts of Somaliland.
• Ability to be creative and innovative in generating new ideas and putting them into practice.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Somali.
According to The Pharo Foundation Programme document, produce monthly and quarterly activity plans.
• Responsible for the overall management of the Foundation’s education-related activities in the four villages of Ilma dado, Illinta, Gobka Daarimo and Botor.
• Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual plans as per the programme document.
• Lead in the establishment / strengthening of community education committees.
• Mobilise communities and facilitate agreements with communities, including contribution to the schools and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) facilities
