Requirements
• At least a Bachelor degree in civil engineering, hydrology, geology or another related discipline;
Postgraduate level qualification an advantage.
• Minimum five years’ practical and hands on experience of developing and managing largescale
water infrastructure construction.
• A high level of technical expertise in the design and construction of water storage schemes and
domestic water supply

Responsibilities
• Design civil works associated with hydrogeological activities, and supervise their constructions, installation and maintenance.
•  With  support  from  the Water  Development  Coordinator,  develop implementation plans and  undertake field  missions to  monitor/supervise the progress of  water
development activities
• Provide technical assistance to the site supervisors, site engineers, technicians and site workers in the construction/rehabilitation of water sources.
• Assist the Water Development Coordinator to evaluate and select reliable contractors for the construction/ rehabilitation of water sources.
• With the support of the Water Development Coordinator, prepare contract agreements for the construction/rehabilitation of water infrastructure.
• Work closely with implementing partners to prepare and agree action plans clearly stating the start and end dates of each activity.
• Determine the most effective and sustainable water management method applicable in the area
and prepare an action plan on managing water sources
