Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Counseling and/or Psychology. Master's degree in the same fields is an
added advantage
• Three years hands on experience in counseling preferably with GBV survivors
• Knowledge in gender issues and human rights
• Excellent knowledge of computer applications including Ms Word, Excel
• Good facilitation/training skills and project report writing skills

Responsibilities
NCA is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of Psychoscial
Counselor for its Partner in Juba.
The Psychosocial Counselor (GBV) will support the successful management, coordination &
implementation of all psychosocial activities, and will be responsible for the provision of quality case
management to survivors of GBV in designated project locations. Additionally, he/she wi ll be responsible
for reporting on a monthly basis on all GBV activities undertaken by NCA partners. The Psychosocial
Counselor will supervise the professional development of Para-Counselors by designing and delivering
trainings as needed, providing guidance in the field and ensuring t he quality of services provided. S/he
will work and liaise closely with the GBV/Heatth Officer on documentation of programme activities as per
NCA requirements.
