About Company: GREDO is an indigenous local NGO. Nonprofit nonpartial, nonpolitical and voluntary organization based in Baidoa. To reach the most affected grassroot communities in Bay and Bakool regions and lower Shebelle effectively and efficiently, the necessity of local partnership in relief program appeared. Responding to the partnership need, a group of Somali intellectuals and wellwishers initiated in December 1992 a local nongovernmental organization called Gargaar Relief and Development Organization (GREDO) the organization has implemented during these period different projects including relief and emergency programs and later improved into rehabilitation and developmental programs.

Requirements
Degree in Public Health or Nursing
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in a emergency health program set up
Willing to travel and live in difficult and remote areas
A mature person of high professional discipline and moral integrity,
Knowledge of local Somali language.

Responsibilities
Plan and review all Health activities in collaboration with Medical Doctor or health staff and other
agencies/partners both inside and outside the health cluster forums.
To supervise and support all field staff in all Health technical areas in Bay and Bakool to ensure effective
delegation and work allocation.
Write internal Health technical reports (including but not limited to monthly and quarterly facility reports,
surveillance reports and outbreak reports) and send to the Head of programs or , program manager.
Identify Health training needs and organize appropriate training for all technical staff working with GREDO in
Project locations and to assist in preparation of training materials in conjunction with the health program
manager and other partners.
Will be responsible for the roll out of EWARS training in identified sites in collaboration with WHO field office.
Will be responsible for the day to day implementation of all the project activities and support the project
officer or assistants that will report to him.
